A rather unfortunate incident... - An update

Since my last blog, there has been a huge outpouring of support and I received thousands of emails asking how my thumb is and many offers of manicures (so many...).  Unbelievable. I am so touched.

A Tale of Two Thumbs

I am happy to report that Sir Thumbs-a-Lot’s nail is on the mend (See the above picture of him and his unharmed mirror twin, Lord Lefty).

While the physical scars fade, the mental scars are the ones that will take time.  And again, I like to thank my readers for recognising the truth behind “The Incident” and siding with me. In fact, one crusading reader launched a Change.org petition to seek justice and prosecute my assailant. I think she was one of L’s former co-workers. The petition received over 5 thousand votes for justice in just 24 hours until Change.org pulled it because it’s a US website and doesn’t recognise Scots Law. The petition’s call for a “Dead or alive” bounty on L’s head didn’t help either…

But it is Christmas, and a time to come together. I hope you, dear reader, can learn to forgive L in due time, just as I hope to. Happy Christmas!
